The Duquette Family Sneak Peak

Today I spent a HOT afternoon in Northern Central Florida with the Duquette Family. What a great group of people! Even though it was blistering outside, there was hardly a complaint. The results were worth the suffering.

Tara & Brandon's Nature Engagement Session

Yesterday I met up with Tara, Brandon, and their adorable Godson, Kaine (who also happens to be the nephew of one of my very best friends.) Tara and Brandon share not only a love for eachother, that has been blossoming since middle school, (How CUTE is THAT!?)And for Kaine,  but they also share a passion for nature. The beautiful wooded location was the perfect backdrop to tell their love story.  And while I was shooting, Brandon would often tell Tara how pretty she is. You can really see by the following pictures how tender their love is.

I was able to pull some silly faces out of them:

During our session, we had a casualty. Tara had gotten cut on something sharp. But her prince charming was there to wisk her away and take care of her.

She's a tough one, though. She didn't let that ruin our fun! But this WAS just a sneak peak, so I'll leave you with just one more image. Thank you again, Tara and Brandon! It was a BLAST! You're my favorite! ;)

This child has music in her soul

Summer Time

June 21 marked the first day of Summer. Hot, rainy afternoons, tan lines, and flip flops. Kids are out of school and are looking for ways to quell their boredom. Today I took my daughter to a local park to feed the ducks. And the Ibises. And the squirrels. And whatever else that thought it could scrounge a bite. As usual during the June afternoons here in Florida, it began to rain, just as the last crumb was passed around. She has decided she wants to do this again tomorrow.
